To transfer product license

This procedure transfers a license from one computer to another computer. The procedure has two steps

1. Transfer the license from the Source computer back to the Inlite Registration server.
2. Register the license on the Destination computer.

To initiate the transfer on the Source computer

1. Select one or more items in the Registered products list.  Hold the Shift key and click on a product line to select multiple products
2. Click the Transfer Licenses button.
3. Click Yes to confirm.
4. If the computer is online, the procedure will complete automatically.   
   Else follow the offline action procedure 
5. Select one or more items in the  Transferred licenses list.  Hold the Shift key and click on product line to select multiple products.  
   • Click the Export button to save the certificate values to a text file in the My Documents folder.  
   • Transfer this file to the Destination computer.

Note 1: Once you click Yes in the Transfer dialog box, the active license is removed from Source computer, and is made available for registration again.  The production software will stop working without this license.

Note 2:  If you change your mind about the transfer while offline Transfer License is pending, click the Cancel Offline button.  You must then execute the recover product licenses on the Source computer in order to make the license available.

To register the license on the  Destination computer

1. Click the Register Licenses button to open Register Certificates dialog box.
2. Click the Import button and select the text file exported from Source computer.
3. Click the Register All button.   
4. If the computer is online, the procedure will complete automatically.   
   Else follow the offline action procedure
