The Document Reconstruction profile expects each page to possess a barcode. It assembles the output document from various pages with the same Document ID.   The pages can come from one or more input files.

Typical applications

• Waybills, invoices, receipts and other single page documents are scanned together for convenience throughout the day.   A situation common in trucking terminals.   The documents then need to be separated by account, driver, or other parameter.

• A stack of 4 page documents is scanned.  Some pages contain confidential data.  All pages need to be separated and sent out to separate locations.   By using a page number in the barcode, the pages can be separated into groups.

Exception Notes

 Due to its fundamental purpose, the Duplicate Document ID Exception is not generated for this profile
